The Azalea Coast Library Association (ACLA) is requesting presentation and poster session proposals for its one-day conference in Wilmington, NC on Friday, April 20, 2018. Submissions are encouraged from anyone who would like to share their knowledge and expertise with library colleagues from all types of libraries. Topics can include, but are not limited to:
Presentations will be 45 minutes in length including time for Q & A. Posters will be displayed at the beginning of the day and will be on display throughout the conference. There will be a 30 minute time during the end of the lunch break when presenters will supervise their poster for questions.
Please Note: If your presentation/poster session is selected, you will still need to register for the conference. Registration for presenters is at the early bird rate of $25.00 and includes light breakfast, lunch, parking, and access to all sessions. Questions? Contact Jacob Deininger (jdeininger@cfcc.edu)

If time permits, we will have a quick meeting of the ACLA Conference Committee after the Quarterly Meeting. The ACLA Conference is now six months away–time for a “checkup” to make sure we are prepared.
ACLA is planning our 2018 conference and would like to hear your thoughts on themes! The agenda for the meeting will be a discussion of conference themes and an outlining of rollout dates for the request for presentation form and review of submissions.
