Our next ACLA social gathering will be held at Poe’s Tavern, Wrightsville Beach on January 18^th, 2019 between 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please come out and enjoy meeting other librarians from southeastern North Carolina that evening.  It will also be the anniversary weekend of Edgar Allan Poe’s 210^th birthday.

Join us at the New Hanover County Public Library (NHCPL) Main Branch (Downtown) in the Masonboro Room (3rd floor)! Jimi Rider will be giving an overview of NHCPL Disaster Response Plan. Attendees will be encouraged to share tips/tricks.

After the Disaster Response program, we will hold elections for the ACLA board!

Patricia Dew gave an excellent presentation about planning for the new (currently under construction) Pine Valley branch of New Hanover County Public Library at our quarterly meeting last Thursday!
