The Chief of Library Development leads a team of 9 library consultants to actively work with partners across the state to create and carry out statewide programs that cultivate leadership, strengthen libraries and chart a course for public libraries to grow and thrive as critical community resources.

The Chief of the Government and Heritage Library leads a team of 24 staff in continuously designing 21^st century services and resources that anticipate patron needs and provide broad digital access while preserving the state record for future generations and insuring that the library will continue to thrive as a critical state resource.
